Welcome to the Hay Lane Dahlia Grow-a-long
Here we will be showing you, step-by-step, how to grow dahlias suitable for producing armfuls of beautiful flowers for cutting. The Grow-a-Long will start on Friday 24th February.
To join the Grow-a-Long you will need:
- At least one good dahlia tuber
- Compost and flower pots
- A sharp knife or pair of snips
- A warm, bright area, such as a bright indoor windowsill or heated conservatory.
If you have vermiculite, rooting powder or a windowsill style propagator, you can use them, but if you are (like many of us this year) on a tight budget please don’t buy them specially!
